Hi, I'm Kat!

I grew up in Slovakia, published my first book there, lived in Prague, Belgium, New York, and LA, and now write funny, smart, slightly spicy rom-coms from Northern Colorado.

My English-language debut, Bitcoin and a Billion Regrets, comes out Valentine's Day 2027. It started with a real viral news story about a lost Bitcoin fortune and a landfill. The person who threw the hard drive away was his ex, even in real life. I couldn't stop thinking that the hard drive was a metaphor for their lost relationship and a messenger from the past.

On Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube I act out scenes from the book, talk about the books I love, and share how I write, including dictating my novels out loud.
